TESTUDO uses cookies on its websites and apps or on websites and apps that are operated on behalf of TESTUDO (hereinafter “TESTUDO Websites“). Cookies are a common technology in which the website assigns an identifier to the Customer’s browser, which the Customer stores and presents on request; TESTUDO normally lets this identifier expire after a session, but uses permanent cookies to control the display of advertising on the TESTUDO Websites, to be able to analyse the use of the TESTUDO Websites and to personalise the TESTUDO Websites. Permanent cookies can be automatically deleted, restricted or completely blocked by making the appropriate settings in the browser (more information here for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome and/or other browsers). TESTUDO may use Google Analytics on the TESTUDO Websites. Google Analytics is a web analysis service of Google Inc. based in Mountain View, California, USA (hereinafter “Google“). Google Analytics uses text files (hereinafter “Google cookies“) which are stored on the Customer’s computer, and which enable the use of the TESTUDO Websites to be analysed. The information generated by the Google cookies about the use of the TESTUDO Websites is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on the TESTUDO Websites, Google will truncate the Customer’s IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of TESTUDO, Google may use this information to analyse the use of the TESTUDO Websites, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to the use of the TESTUDO Websites and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by the Customer’s browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. The storage of Google cookies can be prevented by a corresponding setting in the browser software. If the Customer prevents the storage of Google cookies, the Customer may not be able to use all functions of the TESTUDO Websites to their full extent. The Customer can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the Google cookies and relating to the use of the TESTUDO Websites (including the IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in or prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on the following link and following the instructions therein: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. An opt-out cookie is set that prevents the future collection of data when visiting the TESTUDO Websites. TESTUDO uses Google’s reCAPTCHA service to protect Customer enquiries via internet forms. The query serves to differentiate whether the input is made by a human or abusively by automated, machine processing. The query includes sending the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. For this purpose, the Customer’s input is transmitted to Google and used there. However, Google will truncate the Customer’s IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of TESTUDO to analyse the use of this service. The IP address transmitted by the Customer’s browser as part of reCaptcha is not merged with other Google data. The deviating data protection provisions of Google apply to this data. TESTUDO uses the Hotjar service to improve user-friendliness. Hotjar Ltd. Hotjar Ltd. is a European company based in Malta (hereinafter “Hotjar”, registered at, Level 2, St Julians Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julians STJ 1000, Malta, Europe). Mouse clicks as well as mouse and scroll movements can be recorded. Keystrokes made on this website can also be recorded. Personalised information is not recorded. Hotjar uses a tracking code to collect and transmit your data. As soon as the Customer visits one of the TESTUDO Websites, the Hotjar tracking code automatically collects the data based on this activity and stores it on the Hotjar servers (located in Ireland). In addition, the cookies placed by the website on the Customer’s computer or end device also collect data. TESTUDO uses functions of Meta Platforms, Inc. (hereinafter “Meta, registered at 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA). When TESTUDO Websites with Meta plug-ins are accessed, a connection is established between the Customer’s browser and the Meta servers. Data is already transmitted to Meta in the process. If Customers have a Meta account and/or an account of a Meta product (e.g. WhatsApp, Instagram, Horizon Worlds, etc.), this data can be linked to it. If no assignment of this data to a Meta account is desired, the Customer must log out of any Meta account before visiting the TESTUDO Websites. Interactions, in particular the use of a comment function or clicking on a “Like” or “Share” button, are also passed on to Meta. The TESTUDO Websites use functions of X Corp. (hereinafter “X” registered at 865 FM 1209, Building 2 Bastrop, TX 78602 USA). When calling up TESTUDO Websites with a X plug-in, a connection is established between the Customer’s browser and the X servers. Data is already transmitted to X in the process. If the Customer has a X account, this data can be linked to it. If no assignment of this data to a X account is desired, the Customer must log out of X before visiting the TESTUDO Websites. The TESTUDO Websites use functions of the LinkedIn network. The provider is LinkedIn Corporation (hereinafter “LinkedIn”, registered at 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Each time the TESTUDO Websites containing LinkedIn functions are accessed, a connection to LinkedIn servers is established. LinkedIn is informed that Customers have visited the TESTUDO Websites with their IP address. If Customers click on LinkedIn links/buttons and are logged into their LinkedIn account, LinkedIn is able to assign the visit to the TESTUDO Websites to the Customers and their respective user account. TESTUDO would like to point out that TESTUDO, as the provider of the pages, has and/or receives no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by LinkedIn. TESTUDO uses Adobe Typekit for the visual design of the TESTUDO Websites. Typekit is a service provided by Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd (hereinafter “Adobe”, registered at 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Republic of Ireland) which grants TESTUDO access to a font library. To integrate the fonts used by TESTUDO, the Customer’s browser must establish a connection to an Adobe server in the USA and download the font required for the TESTUDO Website.
